The Lo Shu Grid

The Lo Shu Grid is a numerology chart derived from ancient Chinese numerology. It is a 3×3 magic square, is used to analyze a person’s strengths, weaknesses, and missing energies based on their date of birth.

How it Works:

  • The digits from a person’s full date of birth (DD-MM-YYYY) are placed into a 3×3 grid.
  • Each box in the grid corresponds to a specific number from 1 to 9, arranged in a fixed pattern:
  • Each number is placed in its respective position based on how many times it appears in the birthdate.

What It Reveals:

Missing numbers in Lo Shu grid –  indicates the qualities that may be underdeveloped or need conscious effort to build.

Repeated numbers in Lo Shu grid amplifies certain traits or energies.

What is a “Plane” in the Lo Shu Grid?

In Lo Shu Grid numerology, a plane refers to a straight line formed by numbers that lie horizontally, vertically, or diagonally within the 3×3 grid. Each plane represents a Mental, Emotional, Physical, or Spiritual status of your life.

Planes are used to interpret how balanced or strong certain aspects of a person’s life are, based on which numbers appear in their birth date.

Meaning of the Plane

Emotional Plane (3–5–7): Governs emotional expression, relationships, and sensitivity.
Practical Plane (8–1–6): Reflects practicality, material grounding, and action orientation
